Language Coach with over 20 years of experience and a passion for tailored learning
I am professionally trained as a special education teacher, specializing during my studies in teaching Finnish as a second language (S2) and native language pedagogy. I have over 20 years of experience teaching Finnish at various levels. English language teaching has also been major part of my career throughout.
​My special education training has provided me with a strong toolkit for guiding diverse learners. More than 10 years of experience in special education helps me identify learning challenges and support students individually gently but firmly. Additionally, I have completed a one-year solution-focused neuropsychiatric coaching training, which has deepened my understanding of different learning needs and supporting life management.

Teaching is my passion, and I continuously develop my skills: I try out new methods and utilize modern tools, such as the Reactored app, which allows comprehensive practice of different language skills, and an AI tutor that converses, asks questions, and gives feedback tirelessly, exactly when it suits you
